WHY OUR STAFF LOVE CAMP
Testimonials
There are many reasons why you should work at our camp, but we don't want you to just take our word for it! Here are just a few of our staff giving their reasons for loving camp.

"I love camp because it was a place that gave me hope in such a dark time in my life. Every single staff member believed in me and loved me, no matter what. I think at camp I truly felt what it was like to experience God's love fully. I have been an outsider a majority of my life, and at camp, being an outsider really does not happen. Camp becomes your family, and everyone has your back all the time. I have met some of my closest friends at camp and I wouldn't give that up for the world. I am so thankful I found camp through googling summer jobs and I am so so happy to have found a second family from it."

"Camp is where strangers become friends and those friends become family. It's where I've always been given a second chance. It's my refuge from reality. And it's through camp's loving environment, the amazing people, and the very real presence of God, that I have become the woman that I am toady."
Paige Brown

"Camp became "home" for me as it is for everyone who is fortunate enough to experience camp life. It's a place where I always felt accepted/included. It was a place of stability. And it is where I learned and grew the most as a Christian. It's a place that I could always see, and still see, God in everything there! For me, it was also a place of unity. I cherished meeting and befriending people from all walks of life and from different parts of the world. The one (most important) thing we all had in common was serving and loving God. And also being the example of that love to each other as well as to the kids we were there for was the most rewarding."

"Camp SWONEKY taught invaluable leadership lessons and gave me confidence to do things I never thought I would. Most importantly, I gave my heart to Jesus there."

"I was an international staff in 1998. My first visit to the US, and apart from the poison ivy, the raccoons and the tornado warnings, I had the best time of my life. I met so many incredible people and I have treasured memories."
