About Camp SWONEKY
Camp SWONEKY provides a respite from the world, enabling individiuals to refocus their lives and priorities. Whether families are touched by AIDS or divorce, whether they are poor in money or poor in spirit, or whether they simply need a break from their hectic pace of life, they find relief at Camp SWONEKY. And they find hope! Many also find a calling, returning to Camp SWONEKY year after year as staff members, counselors, and volunteers.
Camp SWONEKY is owned and operated by The Salvation Army, one of the largest charitable and service organizations in the world. The Salvation Army has been in existence since 1865, supporting those in need without discrimination.
During the summer months, we offer summer camping programs for campers ages 6-12. Accreditation and Membership Camp SWONEKY is licensed by the Warren County Health Department, accredited by the American Camp Association, and is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association. These governing bodies guide our standards for health, safety, administration, education, recreation, and professional practices.

● Christian Camp and Conference Association – http://www.ccca-us.org/ - Camp SWONEKY has been a member in good standing since 2004.
Location Camp SWONEKY is located on approximately 200 acres of wooded land in Oregonia, OH just off of I-71 at exit 36. We are approximately 35 miles north of Cincinnati, 40 miles south of Dayton, and 70 miles southwest of Columbus.
Facilities The Lord has blessed us with wonderful facilities! Our main facilities include 10 camper log cabins, 2 staff and guests lodges, an infirmary, a recreation hall, a nature center, a craft lodge, a large meeting facility, and a dining hall. Activities Our activity areas include 2 playgrounds, a Jumping Pillow, a 9 hole disc golf course, a swimming pool, a lake for boating and fishing, a nature center, a craft lodge, a challenge course, a children's petting farm, a horse corral, hiking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, baseball/softball fields, a campfire amphitheater, and much more.
